Closed, But Our Mission Continues: Preservation and Publication

Since its founding in 1968, the John Timon Reily Historical Society's mission has been to preserve the past for future generations. That mission continues as we close our doors. Our extensive collection of local history is being shared with other historical organizations.

Currently, we are working to place our collection with local Historical Societies, such as the Yelland Research Library of the Hanover Area Historical Society; organizations in Adams and York Counties in Pennsylvania and Carroll County, Maryland; as well as The Archives of the Diocese of Harrisburg. It is our hope that visitors to our website will continue their research at one of these local organizations.
